  1. Hi

This is Alex Globochnik. We talked before about this project and I am reminding you that I am available in what ever capacity. I am totally versed in all aspects of basement construction (just completing one now).

  2. My dad will be there. He can do plumbing, electrical, any kind of building and he comes with his own tools. It will be an honour for him. His name is Ed.

  3. How do we donate money online?

  4. I am happy to help in any way I can (building, labouring, gardening, etc).

  5. When will all of this be happening? I have some free time coming up as the gardening season is coming to an end. I would be available to help….painting, running around….I have helped with the renovation of my own place.

    • Thanks Judy, We’ll keep you up-to-date on our progress… Right now we still need monetary contributions to move the project forward. We’ll be calling on those who have offered to help asap.

  6. Thank you very much, Margaret. You know firsthand what a wonderful woman our Twyla is.

  7. Congratulations on the excellent organization of this worth while project. Twyla worked with Joan Weed on my garden, I will gladly send a donation the end of the month

  8. Are you looking for appliances? Washer, dryer? Also, I will send a Christmas donation today.

  9. Hello, I’m an Electrician who has and is struggling with mental health and issues of homelessness, un-employment and and health. I would like to offer my services for your project. My 15 yrs experience ensure the work gets done properly and efficiantly, all to proper Canadian Electrical Code standards. It would be a pleasure to help wire the apt but I cannot afford to supply materials or permits.

    • Hello Christopher,
We plan to start the waterproofing next week. Electrical work will be soon. We’ve got your name and will let you know when and how we’re proceeding.
      Thanks for your support.

  10. Thank you to the many people at the Main Fitness Christmas Market who bought homemade jam and handwoven bookmarks to support the Twyla Project.

  11. Hi, yes I want to help. I am a small contractor/handyman and can pitch in with trades or do whatever needs doing. Let me know how I can help out.

  12. Hi,
This is Aislinn (BAS grad, Darlene McKee’s daughter). I will be in Toronto early April and would like to drop a batch (or two) of cookies for your team. Please email me so we can set up a day.
